United States Air Consolidators Association
It
is the mission of the United States Air Consolidators Association
(USACA) to serve as the national trade association for those air
consolidator businesses which provide their travel agent customers
with integrity, trust and reliability.
This
is ensured by the requirements that each member transacts at least
$20 million annually in air consolidation in conjunction with scheduled
airlines; is incorporated in the United States for at least two
years, and has never filed for bankruptcy or ceased operation.
TRAVEL AGENTS DO NOT NEED MEMBERSHIP
TO BUY FROM A USACA CONSOLIDATOR.
WHY
YOU SHOULD USE USACA MEMBERS
1.
More commission.
Bulk fares allow the travel agents to mark up the ticket according
to their market. Discounted published fares allow the agents to
get up to 45% off the published rate available in the CRS. The agent
can give a portion of the % back to the passenger. This lets the
travel agents earn more commission and enhance customer loyalty.
2. USACA consolidators have met the association's requirements for
admission including:
--length of uninterrupted service
as a consolidator to travel agencies, at least two years, all present
USACA members have a minimum of 10 years each
--must sell at least $20 million in
consolidated air sale
3. USACA consolidators accept major
credit cards.
4.
USACA members' contracts allow mileage
accrual with the major airlines.
5. Most USACA members have or are about to have systems
that allow travel agencies to obtain quotes via any CRS or the Web
saving significant time to the agent allowing him/her to deliver
superior service to the passenger.
6. USACA members have the ability to negotiate
last minute tickets and offer lower airfares to
your clients.
7. USACA members provide air consolidator tickets to retailers within
fourteen business days of receipt of payment.
8. USACA members provide you with travel
itinerary details and other information.
9. USACA members are reliable professionals
and have been in business for over two years consecutively.
